We built Zevero because the invoice data was already there
Mid-market manufacturers spend hundreds of hours assembling emissions reports from spreadsheets. The source data, purchase orders, utility bills, and freight invoices, already exists inside their ERP. We built the extraction and calculation layer that connects the two.
Why we started
The data exists. Manufacturers just can't reach it.
Shigeo Taniuchi spent several years in financial leadership at a Singapore-listed manufacturer before founding Zevero. Each year, his sustainability team assembled the GHG report manually: exporting AP ledger entries to Excel, looking up emission factors for each category, correcting unit conversions, and formatting the result for CDP upload. Four people. Six weeks. Every year.
The number on the final page was correct to within a reasonable margin. But the process was fragile, expensive, and not auditable in the way third-party verifiers require. When SGX climate reporting rules tightened in 2024, it became clear that the spreadsheet approach would not survive a third-party verification cycle.
The observation that drove Zevero: every piece of data needed for an emissions calculation already lived inside the ERP. The problem was extraction accuracy and factor selection logic, not data availability. Priya Nataraj joined as CTO to solve the document intelligence layer. Wei-Lin Chua joined to build the disclosure output that finance teams and sustainability leads could both trust.

Spent years in financial leadership at a Singapore manufacturer, assembling GHG reports by hand each reporting cycle. That experience with enterprise data systems and sustainability reporting drove him to build the extraction and calculation layer that could do it automatically.
Priya Nataraj
Chief Technology Officer
Background in data engineering and AI extraction pipelines, with a focus on industrial document workflows. Built structured data extraction systems for supply chain and procurement data before joining Zevero to lead the invoice parsing and climate data infrastructure.
Wei-Lin Chua
Head of Product
Background spanning enterprise software product management and sustainability compliance workflows in the Singapore B2B market. Joined Zevero to build the disclosure output layer: the part where emissions data becomes a file a sustainability lead can actually submit.
What we believe
Three things we will not compromise on
Data honesty
We do not smooth over uncertainty with conservative estimates. If a calculation has a confidence gap, we surface it. Disclosure reviewers trust the numbers more when they can see the uncertainty bounds.
Full auditability
Every emission entry in Zevero traces back to the source invoice and the emission factor version applied. We built the audit trail as infrastructure, not as an afterthought, because third-party verification requires it.
Customer outcomes
The measure of success is not a platform metric. It is whether the sustainability team submitted their CDP response, passed their TCFD review, or satisfied their customer due diligence request. Those are the outcomes we track.
In November 2025, Zevero raised a $2M angel round from Singapore-based operators in manufacturing and logistics. The round funds the engineering team and the commercial rollout across the SGX manufacturing sector.
