1. Our Commitment

Zevero Pte. Ltd. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") (6 Raffles Quay, Level 12, Singapore 049483) is the data controller for personal data collected in connection with withzevero.com and the Zevero carbon accounting service. We process personal data under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA"). Contact: [email protected].

Zevero provides AI-assisted carbon accounting software for mid-market manufacturers. Our service reads invoice and meter data submitted by corporate users, matches each line to a GHG Protocol emission factor, and produces disclosure-ready reports aligned to CDP, ISSB IFRS S2, TCFD, and SGX Climate Reporting requirements. This policy explains what personal data we collect in operating that service, why we collect it, and the rights you hold under Singapore law.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data across three areas of our service:

  • Account and contact data: name, work email address, company name, job title, and phone number provided when you register, request early access, or contact our team.
  • Service usage data: invoice and meter files uploaded to Zevero, extracted activity data (energy consumption figures, fuel quantities, freight volumes), emissions calculations, and disclosure report outputs generated from that data. Where invoice files contain personal data incidentally (for example, a vendor contact name on a purchase order), that data is processed only to provide the service.
  • Technical and analytics data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, session duration, and error logs collected automatically to operate and improve the service.

We do not use invoice or meter data submitted by customers to train machine learning models without explicit written consent. Customer emissions data is processed solely to generate the ledger, factor-matching, and disclosure outputs requested by the account holder.

3. Notification, Consent, Purpose

We notify you of the purposes of collection and obtain consent where required (deemed, opt-in, or opt-out as appropriate under the PDPA). Personal data is used only for the purposes notified at the time of collection, for which consent is obtained, or as permitted by law. Our primary purposes are:

  • Providing, operating, and improving the Zevero carbon accounting service;
  • Processing invoices and meter reads to generate GHG Protocol-aligned emissions ledgers and disclosure files;
  • Communicating about the service, account activity, and early-access programme updates;
  • Complying with applicable law and responding to regulatory enquiries.

4. Disclosure and Cross-Border Transfer

We disclose personal data to processors acting on our behalf under written contract, including cloud infrastructure providers who host our service in Singapore. Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we ensure a comparable standard of protection through contractual clauses or other PDPA-recognised mechanisms. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

5. Retention

Account and contact data is retained for as long as your account remains active and for a reasonable period thereafter for dispute resolution and legal compliance. Invoice and meter data uploaded to generate emissions reports is retained for the period necessary to provide the service, and deleted upon account closure or on written request. Technical logs are retained for up to 12 months.

6. Your PDPA Rights

  • Right of access to your personal data;
  • Right to correction of inaccurate data;
  • Right to withdraw consent, with effect from the date of withdrawal;
  • Right to data portability where applicable under the PDPA.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

7. Data Breach Notification

Notifiable data breaches are reported to the Personal Data Protection Commission ("PDPC") and to affected individuals as required under the PDPA mandatory breach notification obligation.

8. Do Not Call (DNC)

Marketing messages to Singapore telephone numbers comply with the Do Not Call Provisions of the PDPA. You may opt out of marketing messages via the unsubscribe link in any marketing communication or by emailing us.

9. Complaints and Contact

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first. If the concern is not resolved, you may lodge a complaint with the PDPC at pdpc.gov.sg.
