Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of withzevero.com and the Zevero carbon accounting platform (the "Service") operated by Zevero Pte. Ltd. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") (6 Raffles Quay, Level 12, Singapore 049483). By using the Service you accept these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the laws of your country of residence.

Zevero processes invoice files, meter reads, and related operational data submitted by corporate accounts to generate GHG Protocol-aligned emissions ledgers and disclosure reports for frameworks including CDP, ISSB IFRS S2, TCFD, and SGX Climate Reporting. Your organisation's account holder accepts these Terms on behalf of all users within that account.

2. Use of the Service

• You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction or have parental consent.
• You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt unauthorised access to any account, system, or data.
• You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy the Service except as permitted by mandatory law.
• You are responsible for ensuring that any invoice or meter data you submit does not violate confidentiality obligations you owe to third parties.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its GHG factor-matching logic, disclosure-file generation engine, and underlying software, is owned by Zevero Pte. Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by international intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your organisation's emissions accounting and disclosure purposes.

Emission factor databases referenced by the Service (GHG Protocol, IPCC AR6, EPA eGRID, and others) are published by their respective owners under their own licences. Zevero does not claim ownership of those underlying reference data sets.

4. Customer Data

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of invoice and meter data you submit. You grant us a limited licence to use, store, and process your submitted data solely to provide the Service and generate your emissions ledger and disclosure outputs. We do not use customer-submitted data to train machine learning models without your explicit written consent. Our handling of personal data within customer submissions is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Zevero is a tool for assembling and formatting emissions calculations from data you supply; the accuracy of outputs depends on the accuracy and completeness of inputs. Emissions disclosures prepared using Zevero remain the responsibility of your organisation's authorised signatories. Mandatory consumer warranties applicable in your country of residence are not affected.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim, except for liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zevero Pte. Ltd. from any claims arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right, including claims arising from inaccurate data you submit to the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 5, 6, 7, and 9) will survive.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Singapore, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms. Material changes are posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
