Standards
Built on GHG Protocol. Ready for the frameworks your auditor expects.
Zevero applies GHG Protocol activity-based methodology to every invoice and meter record it processes. The same underlying calculation engine produces output aligned to CDP, ISSB IFRS S2, TCFD, and SGX Climate Reporting in a single pass.
Calculation methodology
Activity-based calculation using IPCC AR6 emission factors
GHG Protocol defines the activity-based approach as the preferred method for corporate emissions accounting. Zevero extracts activity data directly from your invoices and meter reads, then applies the correct emission factor from IPCC AR6, EPA eGRID, or IEA grid factor databases for the relevant billing period and geography.
- Global Warming Potential values from IPCC AR6 applied to all greenhouse gas calculations. CO2, CH4, N2O, and F-gas emissions converted to CO2e using current 100-year GWP factors.
- Emission factors versioned to the billing period calendar year. Zevero selects the factor version current at the time of each invoice, not the system date, so historical periods are correctly represented.
- Complete audit trail linking each emission entry to the source document, extracted activity quantity, emission factor applied, and factor source database. Required by third-party verifiers operating under ISO 14064-3.
Scope coverage
All three scopes from invoice data you already have
Zevero maps each invoice type to the correct GHG Protocol scope and category. On-site combustion, purchased electricity, procurement invoices, freight records, and waste disposal all handled from your existing document flow.
Disclosure frameworks
Every standard your customers, investors, and regulators require
Zevero generates framework-aligned output from your emissions ledger. Each disclosure format uses the same underlying data, so you enter your invoice data once and produce all required outputs.
CDP Climate Change Questionnaire
Zevero produces CDP questionnaire data in the structured row format the CDP portal accepts. Scope 1, 2, and 3 figures with methodology notes, data quality indicators, and verification status fields populated from your emissions ledger.
ISSB IFRS S2 Climate Disclosures
IFRS S2 requires quantitative climate metrics in financial disclosures. Zevero produces the GHG emission tables, cross-industry metric data, and industry-based data for manufacturing entities that IFRS S2 mandates, structured for inclusion in annual reports.
TCFD Metrics and Targets Annex
The TCFD Metrics Annex requires Scope 1, 2, and 3 data with year-on-year comparisons and transition risk analysis inputs. Zevero formats your emissions ledger data for direct inclusion in TCFD-aligned investor presentations and sustainability reports.
GHG Protocol Corporate Standard
Zevero's calculation engine is built to GHG Protocol Corporate Standard. Activity data, emission factors, GWP values, and organizational boundary definitions all follow GHG Protocol guidance. Output includes the summary tables and scope breakdowns the standard requires.
SGX Climate Reporting Requirements
SGX-listed entities face mandatory climate reporting under SGX sustainability reporting rules. Zevero produces the GHG emission data, Scope 2 market-based and location-based figures, and Scope 3 category disclosure required for SGX climate reporting filings.
